We challenge you to not tap your feet and hum along as we share tunes from that distinctly American theatrical genre: the Broadway musical. Accompanied by a jazz band, we’re highlighting shows released since 1950 – “Funny Girl,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Jersey Boys,” “Mamma Mia,” “Rent,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “The Wiz.” They celebrate virtually all music genres – from rock ’n roll to rhythm ’n blues – through the subgenres of jukebox musical, rock musical, biographical comedy-drama musical, musical comedy, and musical thriller. Something for everyone! We think you’ll agree and look forward to seeing you there.
